I am an experienced consultant in trauma and orthopaedic hand and wrist surgery, working at the Northern Care Alliance since 2014. I have expertise in treating conditions of the hand, wrist and elbow including fractures and injuries. 

I have specialist training in the area of trauma and orthopaedic hand and wrist surgery having completed prestigious fellowships at Wrightington Hospital Upper Limb Unit and The Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby.

I am actively involved in orthopaedic research and education. I am a published author of scientific articles in several international surgical journals. I regularly engage in peer review of surgical literature acting as a journal reviewer for a number of prominent medical journals.

I completed a MD degree (Doctorate in Medicine) in cartilage repair using stem cell technology. I am a trainer of surgical trainees who are undertaking their clinical training in hand and wrist surgery.

I have completed a specialist qualification in my field of expertise called the European Diploma in Hand Surgery.
